Websites for cleaners

A website for your cleaning business

A cleaning customer is letting a stranger into an empty house, so the whole decision runs on trust and on knowing the price before they ask. Get those two things onto the page and the enquiries change from tyre kickers into bookings. That is what I build, for £240 to set up and £179 a month, everything included.

The difference

What a cleaning company’s site needs that a generic one misses

Cleaning is unusual among trades because the customer often will not be there. That changes what they need to see before they will book, and almost no cleaning website addresses it directly.

01

A real price, or a real range

Hourly rate, minimum booking, or a price per bedroom for an end of tenancy. Cleaning is one of the few trades where a customer genuinely expects a number up front, and the ones who hide it lose to the ones who do not.

02

Who is actually coming

Whether your cleaners are employed or subcontracted, whether they are vetted, whether it is the same person each week. This is the question customers care about most and ask about least, so answer it before they have to.

03

Insured, and saying so

Someone is alone in a customer’s home with their possessions. Public liability cover and any vetting you do goes on the page, plainly. It costs nothing to state and it removes the main reason people hesitate.

04

Domestic, commercial or end of tenancy

These are three different businesses with three different customers. A page trying to serve all three at once serves none of them. If you do all three, they get their own sections with their own prices.

05

The areas and the hours you really cover

Cleaning is booked around work and school runs. Saying which postcodes you cover and whether you do early mornings, evenings or weekends stops the enquiries you have to turn down.

06

Reviews doing the heavy lifting

For a trade built on trust, reviews sell harder than anything you write. Your Google Business Profile is set up in your name as part of the job, and I will show you the fastest way to get customers actually leaving them.

See it

Designs you can click through

There is no cleaner design in the gallery yet, so rather than show you somebody else's and call it yours, here is the full range. Every one is a complete site built for an invented business, not a real client.

The price

One price, everything in it

£240 to set up, then £179 a month. Three months minimum, then it rolls on month to month and you can stop on 30 days' notice. There is no bigger package and no quote to wait for, it is the same for everyone.

The website

Designed round your business, built from scratch, live within a week of your content coming in.

Hosting and backups

Fast hosting with version backups, so a bad change is never permanent.

Your Google listing

Google Business Profile set up and looked after, in your name.

Your dashboard

See how many people found you and what they clicked, without needing to learn analytics.

Socials set up

Accounts created and matched to the site so it all looks like one business.

Changes, forever

New prices, new hours, new photos. Message me, it gets done.

Based in London and most of my work is here, but the whole job runs over calls and messages, so where you are does not decide whether I can build it. If you are outside London, or outside the UK, get in touch anyway.

Want the branding too? A logo, colours and type that carry across everything is £199 one-off at signing.

Questions

Things cleaners ask me

Should I put my cleaning prices on the website?

Yes, and cleaning is the clearest case of any trade. Customers expect a number, and a site without one reads as expensive or as evasive. An hourly rate with a minimum booking is enough. It also filters out the people who were only ever going to haggle.

Most of my work comes from referrals and Facebook groups. Why bother?

Those are good sources and you should keep them. What they do not do is catch the person who moved into the area last month and searched instead of asking. In our research a quarter of London cleaning companies had no usable website, so that person often has very little to choose from.

Can the site take bookings?

It can take a booking request that lands in your inbox or on WhatsApp with the address, the rooms and the preferred time, which is usually what you need. If you already use a booking system, the site links straight to it rather than replacing it.

What does a cleaning company website cost?

£240 to set it up, then £179 a month, everything included. Three months minimum, then month to month. That covers the site, hosting, the Google listing, your dashboard and any changes you want.

Want one for your business?

A quick call, no pressure and nothing to prepare. Tell me about it and I will tell you straight whether a site is worth it for you.
