Websites for electricians

A website for your electrical business

An electrician is hired on trust before price. Most people cannot judge the work, so they judge whether you look registered, insured and real. That is what an electrician's site is for: your registration shown plainly, the jobs you actually want, and a quote request that reaches you properly. That is what I build, for £240 to set up and £179 a month, everything included.

The difference

What an electrician’s site needs that a generic one misses

Unlike a plumber you are usually not an emergency. The job is booked, compared and thought about, often by a landlord or a homeowner mid-renovation. That changes what the page has to do.

01

Your registration, where they will look for it

NICEIC, NAPIT, ELECSA, whichever you hold, with the number. Part P stated for domestic work. This is the first thing a careful customer checks and the first thing a landlord’s agent asks for.

02

The jobs you want, not every job

A full rewire and changing a socket are different businesses. Saying which end you work at brings you the enquiries worth having and quietly filters the ones that waste an evening on the phone.

03

Certificates and EICRs, explained

Landlords need an EICR every five years and most do not know what one costs or how long it takes. A page that explains it in plain words is the single best source of repeat commercial work an electrician can have.

04

A quote request that asks the right things

Not a bare contact form. Property type, what the job is, whether there is access, roughly when. Enough that you can price it or rule it out without three phone calls.

05

The area you cover, named

Boroughs and postcodes, not "London and surrounding areas". It stops the enquiries you would only turn down and it tells Google which local searches you should be in.

06

The Google listing and your reviews

Reviews carry more weight for a trade than anything you can write about yourself. Your Business Profile set up in your name, with the right categories, so the reviews you earn actually land somewhere useful.

A full electrician design

BrightSpark Electrical is an example design, not a real business. Click through the whole thing, on your phone if you can.

The price

One price, everything in it

£240 to set up, then £179 a month. Three months minimum, then it rolls on month to month and you can stop on 30 days' notice. There is no bigger package and no quote to wait for, it is the same for everyone.

The website

Designed round your business, built from scratch, live within a week of your content coming in.

Hosting and backups

Fast hosting with version backups, so a bad change is never permanent.

Your Google listing

Google Business Profile set up and looked after, in your name.

Your dashboard

See how many people found you and what they clicked, without needing to learn analytics.

Socials set up

Accounts created and matched to the site so it all looks like one business.

Changes, forever

New prices, new hours, new photos. Message me, it gets done.

Based in London and most of my work is here, but the whole job runs over calls and messages, so where you are does not decide whether I can build it. If you are outside London, or outside the UK, get in touch anyway.

Want the branding too? A logo, colours and type that carry across everything is £199 one-off at signing.

Questions

Things electricians ask me

I get all my work by word of mouth. Is a site worth it?

Word of mouth still ends in a search. Somebody is given your name and looks you up before they ring, and what they find decides whether they do. A site is not there to replace the recommendation, it is there to survive it.

Should I show my registration number?

Yes. Anyone can claim to be registered, and the number is what lets a customer check you on the register in about thirty seconds. Showing it converts better than any badge image.

Can the site take EICR bookings from landlords?

It can take a proper request: property, number of circuits, access, when they need the certificate. Landlord work is repeat work, so the form is built to capture enough that you can quote without a phone call.

What does an electrician’s website cost?

£240 to set it up, then £179 a month. Website, hosting, Google Business Profile, dashboard, socials set up and changes forever. Three months minimum, then month to month on 30 days’ notice.

Want one for your business?

A quick call, no pressure and nothing to prepare. Tell me about it and I will tell you straight whether a site is worth it for you.
